YOUR KINGDOM COME

THE BEACON CHURCH

The Beacon Church has been meeting in Wyberton Community Centre, London Road, for about 25 years. Our members live in Wyberton and the surrounding area and have been actively involved in the life of the community in many varied ways.

We respect the freedom of people’s beliefs including gender, marital status, race, ethnic origin, philosophical and religious views, neither do we seek to impose our Christian faith on others.

In view of this we believe we are able to serve the whole community without prejudice treating each individual with dignity and good intent.

CHURCH MISSION STATEMENT

  • To reach out to every person locally and beyond, to turn their hearts to Jesus Christ, the Saviour of their souls. By sharing the love of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • To bring hope, help and the redeeming work of Almighty God to all of His creation.

We are part of the Groundlevel Network, which exists as a family of churches that empower, support and care for the local church, its leaders and its ministries. We are seeking to have a growing influence in our world and believe that the Church is to be a prophetic voice that is characterised by a strong commitment to Word and Spirit.
